New Years on Phi Phi Island

:::written yesterday but couldn’t upload because internet wasn’t working:::

New Years on Phi Phi Island was great. It’s a small tropical island, with tiny little walkways jam packed with young people from all over the world. Flip flops, bikinis, sand, Ray Bans, little animals wandering around, sarongs for sale, peeps handing out flyers for the nightclubs, banana pancake stands, Australian accents, lithe bodies, and “paradise” may be words that describe the environment.

This little boy is soooo cute!!

Sunday was my visa run, so I flew to Malaysia and back. I also called Orbitz, the company I bought my airline tickets from, and they said that I had the option of flying on January 20th at no charge because it was the “same class” of tickets, but if I chose any other day to return home, I would have to pay at least $500 for change fee plus fare difference. I woke up and decided to take a fasted “exploratory” walk. I didn’t get too see much, though, because there is ...

Okay, first day of training on the books. Yessss it feels so good.

After too little sleep (went to bed late because I went with peeps to the night market, then in the morning I woke up at 4:30 AM because my Australian friend was frikking drunk and stumbled into my room to chat because I accidently left the door unlocked! There went my sleep. I “tried” to sleep but no sleep was happening. At 6 AM, I got out of ...
