Ask yourself WHY do I want to eat?

If you are experiencing an emotion, and feeling emotional hunger…a desire, an urge, a dissatisfaction, a need, a wanting…
eating food will never fill you up…
eating food will never satisfy that emotional hunger…

The nourishment you need is EMOTIONAL, not physical…

Getting to the root of the underlying emotion is key to ending the cycle…

Using food to address an emotional issue is not a resolution…

it merely allows distraction and temporary drowning of the emotion, so the emotion will  resurface… and the problem is still not addressed…

facing the demons and darkness and the true EMOTIONS are key to helping stop emotional eating

losing weight is not about the fat free versus low fat salad dressing , any supplements, any fancy workout routine, or having fitness gadgets. it can most easily and effectively be achieved in the absence of emotional eating.

so, instead of immediately succumbing to WHAT TO EAT, take that PAUSE…and ask yourself WHY do I want to eat? WHY? what do I REALLY need? ….if you are not truly physically hungry, then FOOD is NOT the answer.
