5 Blogs That You Need to Read

I was chatting with a client the other day, and discovered (gleefully) that he was into reading blogs! I had no idea. Anyway, his blogs of interest included those focused on technology, UI design, entrepreneurialism, and a quick hint of cuddly animals. I asked him if he read any health/fitness/nutrition blogs, and he said no. Partly because it can be hard for the non-trainer to know what information out there is quality, or BS! So, in his honor, I want to share with you, my precious readers, five blogs that I think are accurate, interesting, progressive– in other words, REAL SHIT! They vary in topics from metabolism, vitamins, exercises, mood, so on, and so forth, but all under the general umbrella of fitness and nutrition. These blogs I totally endorse and respect. Check them out!

  1. Precision Nutrition (deals with TONS of topics! All backed up by research, and a well-organized site. Peep it!)
  2. Metabolic Effect (focusing mostly on topics related to their approach to metabolism and nutrition. Good stuff!)
  3. Layne Norton (a phD with a lot of youtube vlogs that focus on bodybuilding and metabolism)
  4. Nick Tumminello (a strength and conditioning coach who shares a lot of fantastic exercise info)
  5. Eat, Lift, & Be Happy (blog of Neghar Forooni, a great trainer who shares an emphasis on sustainable lifestyle)
